Back to school

Our daughters, Nikki and Paige bought us a gift certificate for continuing education at the University of Utah for a retirement present. Scrolling through the catalog, we found a Digital Storytelling 101 class. Seemed like perfect timing so we signed up.

The class was a six week series educating us on how to develop and share our stories. The class introduced us to various techniques using text, audio, visual, and video to compose compelling digital stories.

Our professor rekindled my love for photography. This in turn caused me to upgrade my camera to a Canon 5D Mark IV. Unfortunately, I am now carrying the extra weight on this hike hoping to share some amazing pictures. Because the camera is so big, we had to give it a trail name. You will likely see Dexter hanging from my backpack in any photos of me.
